INTRO:
Let’s continue our series.
Arizona Cardinals:
Arizona is another team with a few studs under 25 years old, but the best is Trey McBride. He’s 24 years old and had 825 yards receiving last season, which is crazy good for a TE. It’s amazingly good for a TE on a bad team.
His 825 yards ranked 40th in the league. You’re probably saying, Smayan, how isn't that impressive? Well, the way he did it was the most impressive part. Receivers like Justin Jefferson have always been hitting a 1000-yard season, but from a 200-yard season in 2023 (16 games), with just one more game played, he well did what he did.
Los Angeles Rams:
Pretty obvious pick. Puca Nacua.
This guy is 23 years old and is literally being drafted top 5 in most fantasy football drafts. He was literally a rookie last year! In just one season of play, he had 105 receptions with 1486 yards and 6 touchdowns. Besides the TDs, his reception and yards numbers were in the top 10 in the NFL. He did that in just a season in the NFL. Imagine what he would do this year!
San Francisco 49ers:
Look I get taking Ricky Pearsall here, but that’s just not happening on my side. It’s Brock Purdy.
This is the ultimate story here. Even better than Tom Brady’s start. He was literally a Mr. Irrelavant. Only one or two people have ever risen from that title to become a top player. None of those were QB’s. Want to know another thing that starts with no? No one cared about this pick.
Tom Brady doesn’t get doubted today. But even after starting for a full year now, Purdy gets put with the title system QB. Heck, even I gave him that title in a past article. In 2023, he threw for over 4000 yards with over 30 touchdowns. He finished 5th in yards and 3rd in TDs.
Seattle Seahawks:
Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
This guy came straight to the NFL out of high school and when something like that happens, that means something truly impressive in coming. In his first season as a Seahawk, Njigba had 63 receptions for 628 yards for 4 TDs. That’s not bad considering he’s only 22 years old. There’s so much more to come out of this young man. Seattle’s in for a wild ride!!
