I agree with almost everything except for the fact that baseball is the hardest sport to go pro in, because Minor Leagues is still pro. There is also many other leagues that are not well known, but still pro. And 10% of college players go pro, but in football only 1.6% of players go pro.
Yes. You're right. But, when I mean go pro. I'm not only looking at if they made the major leagues, but also the pay. The average pay you get in Double-A, is average salary in other jobs. Getting that, for the effort you put in for sports? I don't know man!
A suggestion for this article: ERA is basically ((Runs given up by a pitcher)/(Innings pitched by the pitcher)) * (Total number of innings in a regular game)
