#4. I think that if the Lions make the Super Bowl this year, then Brad Holmes would leapfrog past Lynch. Things would become even better if he wins the Super Bowl. He's done a heck of a job building depth, for all those injuries the Lions overcome.
You could even argue that John Lynch shouldn't be on the list because of the amazingly bad season the 49ers had. Personally, I just want to see a Super Bowl Berth to rank them in the top 3 + all the amazing decisions. It's really 4 years in the business compared to 7.
I know this is a very unconstructed response, but what I'm trying to say is I need to see a Super Bowl Berth, befote giving him top 3, but for what he's done for the Lions, I'm giving him #4.
We didn't even make the playoffs this season and Lynch is still top 3. The Chiefs GM should be #1, because the Eagles GM lost to the Chiefs GM in Super Bowl LVII.

Gotcha! I thought it was an article on the top gms of just this year. Hadn't realized it was also base of priors as well
